Day 3 Miami

Day three in Miami was full of education and fun. The stylists attended a look and learn session. Top stylists in the industry explained specific color techniques utilizing the new colors from fascinature, the trend for next year. The stylists are very eager to share their new knowledge with everyone!

Yesterday evening, all of the stylists from North America and Canada gathered at Mansion Night Club for a huge party. As you can imagine, everyone had a wonderful time!

Day 2 Miami!

Yesterday was the final part of the Color Zoom competition. The finalists had to re-create their looks at the Miami Convention Center. Celebrity Stylists and Artists judges the competition. The winners were announced at a gala that evening.

2,600 stylists gathered for the event that was held in a transformed room at the convention center. Each person was welcomed to a beautiful place setting and a delicious three course meal.

The event was extremely entertaining starting out with dancers and acrobats. Next years trend, fascinature, was announced with live models. The trend encompasses the innocence of nature with the vibrancy of fantasy.

Nick Arrojo, a famous celebrity stylist, from the show "What Not to Wear" presented a series of his work. The series was inspired by New York glam and mobster Miami in the 1970's.

After dinner, the finalists from each category, and each country, were announced and presented. The winners from the three categories: partner, new talent, and creative were announced.

Following the presentation the stylists from all over the world were moved to a different area with a dance floor and full bar. The family of stylists danced and celebrated for the rest of the evening.

The Stylists First Day in Miami!

The seven stylists arrived at the luxurious Renaissance Eden Roc hotel around 1:30 PM yesterday. Stylists from around the entire world that utilize the Goldwell color and products are at the event.The stylists were greeted by lots of wonderful treats when they arrived including the Goldwell 2012 Color Zoom Trend Book!



After a delicious lunch on the beach the stylists went up to their rooms to prepare for the White Party.



The White Party was in the grand ballroom area of the hotel. When the stylists all arrived to the party they were transported back in time. The ambience of the party was that of a classy 1920s cocktail party. Delicious food, delectable desserts, and a full bar was available. The finalists of Color Zoom 2011 in the US and Canada were presented and applauded. The grand prize winner of the competition will be announced today. The CEO of Goldwell spoke and explained that they are one family of stylists. The party went on and everyone danced the night away.

October 15th- October 18th seven Jenniffer & Co. stylists will be participating in the exclusive 2011 Goldwell ColorZoom event! The events include a white party, live viewing of the international color competition, a fashion show, classes on the latest trends in hairstyling, and a sundown party!!

The main focus of the event is the ColorZoom 2011 competition. This international competition brings together the top stylists from around the world. Each year, a different trend is emphasized and stylists build off of the trend utilizing their skills to create a masterpiece. Several top stylists in the competition have already been announced at a national level. The international results will be announced in Miami.

 Celebrating a new self expression, Play Strong’s powerful colors and strong contrasts provide pure inspiration for any creative hairstylist. Masculine elements underline a femininity full of power and self confidence. Strong contrasts in black, white and red along with an unconventional mixture of defined and playful shapes, provide an additional touch of distinction and an individual style.

Lake Health is proud to announce its first ever Bra Recycling Drive!

 

 

Lake Health and the Lake Health Salon Alliance are partnering with The Bra Recyclers, a textile recycling organization based out of Arizona, who will take these bras and will be donated directly to women escaping domestic violence. However, if the bra has lived its life it will be deconstructed and recycled and any revenue generated will then be donated to local organizations benefiting women.

 

During the month of October, please bring your used, unloved, or un-wearable bras in for donation. Participating salons include Avanti Salon, Bella Donna Salon & Spa, Don Michael Salon & Spa, Jack Arra’s Salon & Spa., Jenniffer & Co.
